Das neue Leben des Rappers Dr. Knarf

My film “Das neue Leben des Rappers Dr. Knarf” about Niko Brenner, alias Dr. Knarf, was shown in the ARD series “Echtes Leben” on August 29, 2023, at 11.35 pm and afterwards in the ARD Mediathek.

The film about Niko for the WDR series “Menschen hautnah”, entitled “Dr. Knarf lebt!”, can be seen online on youtube.

While we were working on the “Echtes Leben” report, there was no court hearing yet. In the film “Dr. Knarf lebt!”, Niko already knew that there would be a trial, but not how it would end. It is now clear: Niko has been given a suspended sentence and will not have to go to prison.
