About the Film
2011 marks the 20th Anniversary of the German NGO medica mondiale, based in Cologne. They are committed to end sexualised violence – worldwide. Together with their partner organizations, they strengthen women and girls in conflict areas and support them in coping with violence and trauma. They stand up for women’s rights and work towards social transformation. Medica mondiale is a feminist women’s rights and aid organization and part of a diverse feminist movement. In this film I´ve collected a lot of old, historic material from the archives of the NGO about their beginning, to honor and show their important work.
